A day at the Parade

Saturday the 25th was the June Dairy Parade in Tillamook, and this year Daniel and Levi were in the parade! There is a "Kid Parade" that takes place right before the actual one so that the little guys don't have to walk the whole mile and half that the real parade route takes. It was just 5 blocks.

We walked with the Toddler Art group from the Bay City Art Center. The past few weeks in art class the kids made things like tie-dye t-shirts, tassles, hats and musical instruments (paper towel tube shakers) all to show in the parade. They were super cute!

After the Kid Parade we found some friends and watched part of the real parade. Daniel loved everything about it. There were tractors, horses, fire trucks and lots of treats being tossed at us. Levi was pretty fascinated by all of it too.
