Other Daniel sayings

Here's a little sampling of some of the hilarious things he's been saying lately.

• He "loves" lots of things. He will often say "Daniel uv... "tractors, underdogs, blueberries, or whatever strikes his fancy at the moment.
• Since we visited baby Caris (the Troyers new baby girl! Born 6/21) in the hospital he is obsessed with idea of being born in a hospital. He will just casually slip into converstions the fact that "E-i born hospital, Daniel born hospital, Dad born hospital". Apparently it's not important that mom was also born in a hospital. :P
  
• Speaking of "moms not being important", whenever he sees an adult animal with a baby animal in a book, the adult animal is almost always a daddy. When I try to explain to him that it is probably a mommy, he just says "hmmm...probably daddy."
• The other day while eating breakfast he informed me that food goes down his "drain" and into his tummy, like the water in the bathtub.
• He is full-swing in the "Daniel do it" phase. He has to try putting on his socks and shoes by himself every time, zipping his zipper, going up and down the stairs, buckling his carseat and many other things. Luckily he does not usually get frustrated at his inability to master these tasks yet. He is content to try and then say "mom do it".
