Easter

We had a wonderful Easter this year. Jeff played on the worship team for two services at church. Our church always does a breakfast in between the two services, and it was so nice to sit and chat with people over delicious, home-made breakfast foods.

Daniel looked so cute in his blue argile vest and blue plaid shirt! Thanks Grandma Judy! Of course the family picture wouldn't be complete without Owen trying to nose his way in :)When we got home we all changed into our grubby clothes and started planting some flowers. It was a cold, rainy day, so we did our planting inside. At first Daniel was very interested in eating the dirt. We tried to stop him for about 10 minutes, pushing his hand away from his mouth everytime he tried to get some in, but eventually we let him get just a little taste, and he wasn't such a huge fan. From that point on he was content to leave his binky in his mouth and just play with the dirt in his hands. For the most part we were able to contain the dirt on the tarp, until Daniel decided he was bored with the dirt and crawled off into the kitchen, leaving a trail of dirt behind him :) Oh well, it was a fun day, and his first time playing in the dirt!
