Daniel has started going to a Toddler Art class on Wednesday mornings. So far we've been twice and it's been a hit both times. The first time we did sponge painting and the second time we used glitter glue. Both times Daniel got more paint and glue on himself than on the paper, but it was fun (and washable)!
We went bowling a few weeks ago and it was Daniel's first time in a bowling ally. He was pretty interested in the balls until he realized that he couldn't pick them up. He then made a beeline for the arcade and spent the rest of the evening playing on the race-car game. I love the fact that he was entertained for a good hour and we didn't even have to put any quarters in.
Last night Jeff decided it was time Daniel experienced playdough. He found an easy recipe online and in about half an hour we had lots of blue playdough. Daniel was a big fan! He loved pulling it apart into little pieces and then squishing it back together.
Of course, Levi has been sleeping through all the fun...but at least he has a nice, new swing to snuggle up in. :)
