July started off with a quick trip to Sisters so I could meet this little angel! Ava Kathryn Wolfe, the daughter of one of my dearest friends, Jessica. :)
Then we had a great 4th of July celebration with friends and family again! It was a beautiful and clear day, but super windy on the beach. We all ate sand-coated hotdogs and toasted marshmallows. There was a lot of activity on the beach. The boys were particularly interested in the police ATV's that were patrolling the beach. Once the sun set the wind finally died down and the fireworks started just before 10:00 PM. I love watching fireworks with kids because their awe is almost more fun than the fireworks themselves.

| Too interested in the ATV going by to say "cheese" for the camera. |
The rest of July went by in a whirlwind for us. Jeff enjoyed his deeper involvement in Boys Camp this year, teaching all of the Outdoor classes. I worked in the Undertow coffee shop frequently and enjoyed that time bonding with my fellow baristas.

July is probably the hardest month for Jeff to find any time to take off. He couldn't even get two days in a row the whole month! So that meant a lot of playing around home and day trips for us.

We spent a good amount of time playing in sprinklers and kiddie pools in July. The boys especially loved going over to Sophia's house to play in her pool.

| We made one trip to the zoo to spend some time with Ramona and her mama Danielle before they moved across the | country. |

| We got to meet sweet little Clayton and spend some time with our friends David and Sarah, and Jenn. There are some handsome little boys being raised up in this group! |

We headed into Newberg one afternoon for Grandpa and Grandma Minthorne's 65th wedding anniversary party. I didn't get a chance to take many pictures, mostly because this rambunctious group of cousins was keeping on my toes. It was a great day though! Jeff's sister and her kids came in all the way from Wyoming, his brother came up from San Fransisco, and his parents came down from Seattle, is it was a brief but wonderful family reunion.
