7 month stats

Daniel had his 7 month check-up yesterday. The doctor has never given us specific information on percenitles, except to say that he's right on track, but this time she gave us neat little print-outs so we can see exactly how Daniel measures up.
Weight: 17 lbs 5 oz (25th percentile)

Height: 26 3/4" (40th percentile)

Head: 17 1/4 " (70th percentile)

His wieght gain has slowed down signifantly since he started crawling. The doctor said that it is perfectly normal and that we just need to make sure we're not holding back on calories. So he basically has free reign to eat as much as he wants now, which is good news for Daniel because he loves to eat.
Here are some pictures to show how how very active he is.

He loves playing with shoes, so he always crawls over to the shelf by the door where we keep our shoes. It also happens be the dirtiest spot in the house since that is where all the dirt falls off the shoes. The knees of all his pants and pjs have dirt stains now. Anybody have any advice for getting these out?His very favorite place to be. Jeff and I caught him multiple times trying to climb on to this bottom shelf, and then one day he managed it. Now he pulls himself on any object that is at the right height, like his carseat, his bouncy seat and the rubbermaid container that we keep the cat food in. He sure is one curious little monkey!

He is so cute! We can't wait to see you guys in a few days!

On the dirty knees: plug up your extra bathroom sink and fill it with powdered Oxi-Clean Free and water. Soak his clothes for 6 hours or overnight. It's amazing and takes out most of the stains Ella's managed to give her clothes. Good luck!

Eleanor is getting ready for Daniel to come and visit us... This morning she climbed on my lap as soon as the computer was out and said, "Mommy, baby Dud-dud, peas." So, we came right here to your blog. We're looking forward to seeing you at the end of the week.
