Once we made it Camp Sherman we had a really wonderful white Christmas.
We attempted some x-country skiing with some friends, but it didn't last long because I got winded about 1/2 a mile into it, and Owen fell into a creek, so we turned around. It was fun while it lasted though.

Owen and Puma (my parents' 11 month old pup) had a great time playing together. She showed Owen how to romp in the snow.
There was probably 24"-30" of snow. It was great because it wore the dogs out really fast!

Christmas morning was fun and relaxing. My dad had to work, so we went to the Hatchery to visit him, and then he opened his presents that night.
Dad had just fed the two eagles that hang out around the hatchery, so they were contentedly sitting in trees digesting their meal. We were really glad to have our new camera to capture that moment, because our old one would not have been able to take a shot like that.

Showing off our new duds. Jeff picked out these fantastic furry boots for me! Evan was really into scarves and sweaters this Christmas. Jeff got lots of long underwear. Now we'll all be warm and cozy :)
Jeff had a lot of fun taking pictures of the snow, icicles and sun, so that's why he's not actually in any of the photos. I'm slowing learning all the features of our new camera, so there will be pictures of Jeff soon! :)
