I just want to give craigslist.com a huge wa-hoo! because we have recently bought everything we need for our new house from craigslist, and we saved so much money. We got a frontloading washer and dryer, for $350 and a complete living room set, which includes a matching couch and loveseat, coffee table, two endtables, a sideboard, two matching area rugs, 2 matching lamps and all the throwpillows for the couches, for $550! We had to drive into the valley twice to make these purchases, but really, for the money we saved, it was worth it...and both times we had other things we needed to get in the valley anyway.
So we are super excited and can't wait to get into the house! We sign on Monday and hopefully we can start moving in soon after. So now we'll have plenty of sitting room for our guests, and we have a hide-a-bed, so if anyone needs a place to stay on the beach, we'd love to have guests!

Yay! I love craigslist, too! It got us our great little apartment for this year. And, it looks like it will save us a whole ton of money on essential baby gear as well. :)
I'm excited to hear about your new place and to see pictures once you're in!
